While Waiting for Warm Weather - Went Shopping

Postby Classic Finn » Wed Feb 01, 2006 6:19 pm

Still Alive Here in The frozen Tundra... So we went shopping today...
The parts and pieces are now together...mostly

We have the rims and wheels, and Fenders then we called Camp Inn and ordered 2 Full Door and Window Kits....

In addition to that we now have a nice lil stove - sink combo that we
found on sale...including a cutting board..

Image

And all we do now is wait for the parts to come in..via a good friends
container out of Houston...So it will be awhile but sure beats hundreds of dollars on shipping alone...

4 to 6 weeks and I,ll be able to do somthing.. should be warmer by then too...

I may have a warm Hall to work in ... shortly.. at an RV Sales and Parts
place... If I purchase some items from them  ... Not bad if I can get the space....

Well thats the update from the Frozen Country of Finland..

C/F, when is it warm enough to go outside in a light jacket in Finland.?

Here, we can get some nice days in March, but it is still cold at night... April it rains, May, I start to think I've survived another winter.... The ice is out of the rivers by late March.

btw, I really like that sink/stove combination...

Arnereil

It generally warms for light jacket weather in beginning of April...
Just received a couple of inches of snow again last night...And now its
a light drizzle, snow combo... ohhh ish.

April we can still get a good snow storm but it dont stay on the ground..
By the time April comes around its just a matter of putting the teardrop
together.....unless I can get the nice warm hall to work in next week..
but I still have to wait for the container to arrive...Sad!!!

The Stove Sink Combo is made by Dometic/ Cramer Model CE 99 Mini-FC-G..
It has a Nice Lid on it with a type of a latch to lock it.... It caught our attention so I couldnt resist buying it...

Heikki,
Great sink stove. Hey if I got one, when the boss burns dinner she could just swoop it in the sink to put it out. :rofl2:

You guys remember these sink/stove combos from England, right?

http://www.avaleisure.com/$catpg12.htm

The guy there is a REALLY nice guy, but the stuff is a little pricey, and it's not available in the U.S.
Here we go again!
