Homemade stabilizers

Really if your axle is sitting back far enough you should not have that issue.How much tongue weight do you have? Too little & you could seesaw. If you need install an adjustable leg on the 2 back corners. Good luck.

It is in front of a tiny little all aluminum 4x8 teardrop. Ya just gotta laugh thinking about it.

I need the stabilizers because I'm a Half full kinda guy always be prepared
for the moment, I would hate to roll off the camping pad while in that moment Dhooo!!!!! did I just share That?

Not homemade but, you can't beat the BAL lightweight stabilizers for quick deployment. Once parked you just 'crank' 'em down. I have 'em on all 4 corners but 2 on the rear along with the tongue jack would probably suffice. Not terribly expensive (around $60-70 a pair; there's some on eBay Motors right now for $60 + shipping), install with screws/bolts, & work great for us.

Thanks cowboy the trailer has been modified the axle to the 60/40
position
I'm talking about when camping and the desire not to do a wheely like a dragster in the middle of the night when me and my lady are sleeping

I know that my buddies over on the pop-up forum I hang out on swear by the BAL stabilizer jacks. Half of them bring a cordless drill with the appropriate sized socket to screw them down faster. Set the drill to its lightest torque setting and run the jack down until the foot meets the ground, then off to the next one.

I priced a pair of BAL stabilizers here locally and found them at my local Coleman dealer for $69 for a pair of the 14 inch jacks.

We block the wheels so it won't roll, and have not noticed it rocking during "those times". But then again, we have not asked anyone who might have observed from the outside.....

I have seen a crutch made to be used as an adjustable table leg

Dan in the generic Benroy plans they show where someone has reused the scissor jacks from cars as stabilizers.

I'm with Cliff....you can pick up a scissor type auto jack for next to nothing, flea markets, pick-N-pulls. It's just me in the trailer, but I always stabilize it. Doug
