Estate Sale

Postby dmb90260 » Thu Feb 24, 2011 6:36 pm

A rarity, an estate sale run by the family turned up a couple items

ImageImage

I brought this one home., I might be able to use it. I have no clue what the aluminum baffles are for but I have them plus a thing wire grill piece. The box says what stoves it fits.

I took this with the phone and did not clean the lens first. It is a Newco white gas heater. The illustrations on the box may give a clue to the age. I have no use for it so I left it. It is in the garage surrounded by a lot of old canvas tents and stuff so it may still be there tomorrow if someone wants it.
I can go get it. The box is very fragile but the heater looks to be in working condition.

Randy:

Becca asked first via PM. I will find out tomorrow and let you know. It looks to be in good condition but old, old but functioning.

This is the heater. It will be going to live in Florida.

There were a lot of old tent parts about, that griddle must have been used on a stove. It was not in sight yesterday, today I found it.

This is a well used but well cared for 3-burner 426B.
I don't need it but could not pass up a good deal. Anyone nearby is welcome to buy it. Otherwise it will got to a Vintage trailer rally and be sold there. And I will add in the griddle too.

I can ship it but the costs will not be cheap then.

Fortunately I am not lusting for a 3 burner. My addiction is not that bad yet.

Another week and another estate sale. This was a professionally run sale so little in the way of good deals. However they did offer these to items Price is out of line for me but I can go back for someone else.

Image
Not CI but interesting, I forgot to shot the inside. There are a lot of small waffle bits. $65 Wells two burner waffle iron, check the old plug.

Image
This is a very clean Coleman cooler, no shelf inside but it is spotless
$45 is past my budget.

I can go back today before 4P PST, I am busy the next two days and do not expect to be able to make it then.
