This is a Willis & Bates I picked up today at a thrift store. :)

in my world anything out of the ordinary is cool, that is cool, nice find!! :thumbsup: I wouldnt go breaking the globe or looking for parts tho. might be hard to find... :thinking:

Very nice unusual find! Willis and Bates were UK manufacturers I believe. See what you can dig up for dates on it. Either the Coleman or the Spirit Burner forum would be a good place to start. :thumbsup: Doug

I already did..... It looks like a late 50s or early 60s.

Model is 315.

What I like is that it is kerosene. :)

It has a pre heater ring with a wick.

Looks a lot like a Tilley, which are very popular and well made. Great find, I think you did alright for $12! 8)
