I take mine with me. i have a ladder rack up on top that i have my 1950's grumman rowboat on and on the front "A" frame tongue i mounted a 2x10 with ubolts. and i have the small outboard mounted on it. i wish i had a pic to share. when i get back firm this deployment i will have to share that.

I have rebuilt my 2005 LG 4 wide and can tell ya that the walls are PLENTY sturdy fer yer canoe. They are 3/4 "plywood.

The ROOF..now THAT is another story ! It's only1/8th in. or less and will NOT support any weight ON it.

Dunno how long yer canoe is, but the trailer is only 8ft long. Might be an awful long OVERHANG...

I am thinking a couple of receivers on both sides of the rear and a bar going across then put a T bar on the tongue. You could connect them with some conduit or something. You should have no trouble putting whatever on your Little guy.

Gail and I plan to soon (i.e. May) have a ttt, and will be using both our vehicles to do what you're talking about. Not very inventive, but my classic speedboat weighs considerably more than the ttt we are buying. I believe the 1st time we camp in the ttt will be 10 days around the Wine Country Classic Boats event on Keuka Lake (at the Keuka Lake State Park in NYS) in mid-July. My GMC Canyon will tow the boat, and Gail's Subaru Outback will tow the ttt.

I have a 40's vintage Old Town canoe that needs renovation (including canvas) and I hope to bring that when we camp with the ttt. I'd like to think maybe I could start working on the canoe this year. I planned on putting it on top of my truck, but boy, roof rack systems for canoes are kinda pricey!

I haven't seen any mention of inflatable boats. I've considered a pontoon craft like the Sea Eagle. The 375FC model is $1641 on sale the rest of this month for $1149. There are similar inflatable pontoon boats available for less money. A boat like this with a small trolling motor and extra battery would work for me.

I agree with cracker39 on inflatables. I have owned a sea eagle SE9 for 5 years, great product. I use a deepcell with MinnKota motor on it. I now have this too, http://www.everythinginflatable.com/sto ... 25661.html
