Greetings and Salutations from Las Vegas, Nevada

Postby Iowahawkeye6 » Mon Mar 07, 2011 2:01 pm

Hello all,

I have been reading in anonymity for months and thought I had better join since the collective intelligence of this board surpasses any others that I have been able to find. I've started my first 5'x8' build and so far I have had a lot of great advise from the posts I have read. Thank you all for the great posts!

Welcome aboard Tom,

It's not that I don't believe you are building a trailer but without proof(pictures) I just cant believe you.

Please provide pictures...I need my fix

Welcome Don from Reno! There's quite a group of Teardroppers in the South and a new TearJerkers chapter. It will be great to get to know you. Rbeemer has a good idea, please show us how your build is progressing when you have a few minutes to spare (teardrop time is dear).

All the best,

Dave

First off, thank you all for the warm welcomes. I imagine the camaraderie between T&TTT owners is that of say, fellow hunters, motorcyclists or Rush fans. I am looking forward to the T&TTT way of life. I knew that I might catch grief for not posting pictures, so, I will post the ones I have on my phone(poor quality)now and better ones later. I have a hybrid going on, as do most people I would imagine. I like the shape of the TY Customs, but the detail was just not there and the walls were not insulated, boo. So I am combining the Ty Dean body with Kuffle Creek interior along with my own twist to have a camper that fits my needs. So far so good, I'm taking my time and trying to think 10 steps ahead, which is not always easy being a first timer.
