40 miles from Charleston, where i will be going this coming weekend,
i may pick it up,

Buy it. It's a Scotty. A rare find. Not to many were built. Even with no galley it's worth it to get a piece of history and like that it's in pretty good condition (besides the paint job). I don't know how he came up with TRAB, but it's not. Good thing it's not on the left coast because I have no more room.

Have a good day.

I'd go as high as $1000 for it. But I do crazy things sometimes. :?

Definately looks like a project. Galley is GONE. Unless of course they are bags of feed in the back. If that's the case, ring the dinner bell! I predict this will still bring big money. 1,500+ auction views as of this post.

Don't let that stop you. Sounds like a good road trip!

caution please

Postby waywardson » Sun Feb 05, 2006 10:38 am

if the trailer owner is familiar with this site and watching it,
he will be getting the idea that the trailer is worth much more than i'm willing to pay for it, i dont think i will pay more than 500.00 for it,

i am for sure going to wv this coming weekend and am planning to get it if the price is in my ballpark,

if anyone else wants it and is willing to pay the "expected" big price, i will be happy to pick it up for them and transport as far as nashville, tn and store till they can pick it up,

thanks

Micro,
That's what I was thinking, nice and straight. I actually have a drawing I was concidering early on but mine was a much sharper angle, cutting down on cabin and galley storage. I like the shape of that one.
What effect might all that weight have on the axle if it's sat lke that for a while?

Probably none on the axle but I'd bet those springs are shot.
Those bags are at least 80lb a piece and I can see at least six of them, lotta weight in there.

Yeah, but empty, she'll probably tow just fine... just make sure to grease the bearings, or at least check them ;)

This one is the feed store instead of the chicken coop.

Don't mean to be rude but don't wast your time. It's already up to $400+ and there is only two more days to go. His Resurve has already been met, so by next weekend it'll be long gone. If you want something for nothing, I guess you'll just have to build it. Your passing up a good opportunity to have something nice with a little effort with the interior. Live and learn.

Have a good day.

I guess Mr. ScottyAl hasn't seen it. Then again, maybe he has and is waiting for just the right time.
