I WAS SHOCKED AT OUR FALL GATHERING THAT THE PARK DECIDED TO JUST LET THE FOLKS IN WITHOUT GATE CHARGE TO SEE THE LITTLE TRAILERS. (Oops damn cap lock, sorry)

Sounds like we should maybe alert the local media, or even the national media ;)

It would sure take the pressure off the person at the gate...and their boss might even get credit for filling the park.
Everyone likes credit, right!

Rob, I wonder if the Indiana "National Guard" is busy that weekend?

We might need them to help with traffic.

I think this would be a good piece for the Sunday morning show!

 Fully agree on getting media involved but lets wait a little closer to the time before we start so we can approach them with closer to total numbers and a good presentation of what's happening.

WARNING ! WARNING! WARNING!

Be very careful about posting "for sale" signs on your trailer it could happen.

John and Rose Spratt posted one kinda tongue in cheek to advertise their trailer for sale at the fall gathering and 2 1/2 hours later John looked like he had been shot. A fella stopped asked the price and handed him a substantial down payment.

They are happy campers again with a new Scotty

Scott:

I have contacted Across Indiana a couple weeks ago and had no response. Their taping schedule is months out and I thought it best to give them advance warning in case they would entertain a followup to their segment last spring.

Hi Scott,

Yes, having the directors do the directing is the best plan.

Kurt, I like the National Guard idea...they could maintain order during the day, and then have dinner with us. :Flippin Burger:

That ought to make national headlines... :shake hands:

For the folks with redneck antennas here is a link for the locations and compass heading of all the TV stations in a 70 mile sweep.

Looks like lots to pick from.

Well of coarse it is the directors call on this. I just thought it would be cool to watch Charles Osgood introduce a segment about teardrops and all the great people who participate in the gatherings.

I think it was a tongue in cheek "promotion" but I got a certificate ! :rofl2:

I do know Todd was asking Kurt what the devil a P.R. (public relations) director was.

We are having a "run" on campsites so I have reserved all of the remaining sites in "Loop A".

We have these sites that are held for who ever would like them for two nights (7/15, 7/16):

#13
#14
#87
#88
#93
#126

As these are filled up, this will close out the reservations for the "main" loop.

This will bring the attendance up to 114.
Email or call if you would like one of these remaining sites.

Loop "B" will be the "overflow" sites. :applause:
