Hello All,

Finally after days of searching the perfect website was found. I currently have a Wells Cargo AutoWagon that we use as a camper ATV hauler. I moved to Texas and the un-insulated trailer in this Texas sun is a bummer. The plan is to start the conversion within the next couple of weeks. My wife of 38 years (Paula) and I love to camp and get away for the weekend. Hope to strike up a friendship through the forum.

Jeff

Welcome to the group. There are a lot of members in Texas and they have gatherings going on. So go on out and meet some great people.

Hi Jeff and Welcome to the forum.

I am sorry to inform you but making friends here is not allowed. I say this for your own good, because the next thing you know you will be going to a gathering and catch diseases that have no cure, like having to cook in and collect cast iron, collecting gas lanterns, sitting around camp fires telling stories of old while drinking margaritas from some machine, etc.

Just kidding

Hi Jeff,

Things do get a little toasty in Texas even if you don't add in the coastal humidity.

If you haven't already, check out the South Central section for area gatherings. The big daddy is the Louisianna Cypress Gathering in October at Lake Bisteneau State Park (southwest of Shreveport.) You'll see all variety of teardrops, tiny travel trailers, conversions and tents there. Come join us.

Take care,
Tom

Welcome Jeff and Paula,
Great group of people. We are still looking for our trailer
And hope to camp before cold weather comes again.
