Posting a build question

Postby CARS » Fri Mar 25, 2011 4:16 pm

I have alot of my materials gathered and I started laying out the profile in cardboard and tape. It's going to take time to finish my build with everything else going on in my life.

Question is, do I start a thread in the building journal and add to it as I go, or is it recommended to wait till the sawdust actually flies and the glue is applied??

Here is what I did this afternoon (shh, don't tell anyone I wasn't working!)

Nice job so far. I think you got a great start on a build tread, just move your pictures over to it. I will save you a lot of time. We will all bug you for pictures anyway. So you might as well bite the bullet and start one.

I enjoyed reading and learning from the build journals that were started from scratch. I did the same so that if others wanted to learn from my mistakes, and a few sucesses, they could. I still occationally get emails about our extended table. That is why we did the build journal.

No, I can repost the pics properly in an album.

It might be a week or two before the sawdust hits the floor, but once it does I will start my build thread. Changed a few things on the cardboard already

make the other side out of cardboard cover both with fiberglass and resin
and you are almost done.

looks like a very good start I'll be waiting for build thread.
