A buddy of mine picked this up for me.



He thought it was a "Camp Stove"

I think a Plumbers tool to melt Lead for Cast Iron Pipes.

However it should really bring a Pot of water for Corn on the cob or Steam some Crabs very fast.

hey Len, nice find! A Coleman Handy Gas Plant. Looks to be in real good shape too. They were actually marketed as a commercial grade heating stove, lots of them seem to turn up in farm country. Especially from dairies. That baby will heat a 5 gallon bucket of water plenty quick. Or a nice huge pot of chili maybe?

I don't know them that well, but there should be a model number on it somewhere. Numbers like 457, 460, something like that. Cool stuff.

Is it a Coleman? I haven't started looking at it yet but it has the same technology as a Coleman or other Gas pressure items.

I opened the gas tank and it "Poofed" at me so it will hold Pressure.

Len, they used the old style plunger pumps. But lots of folks just use a bike pump or a compressor with an air nozzle. Thats a big tank to pressurize by hand. Looks like the pressure gauge is intact too, a nice plus.
