I have emptied the dishwasher.. washed some by hand.. taken the garbage out.. and have a load of laundry going.

I think next I will run to the hardware store...

These little dolls are my new little obsession.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matryoshka_doll

It's kind of a neat story to me. 3 wks ago, I had a VERY briefer than brief conversation about these dolls.... with a co-worker. I was trying to think of their name. I couldn't remeber "nesting" and I certainly couldn't remember "matryoshka" or "babushka". LOL Then, I forgot all about the conversation. I was off work for 10 days when I was sick and the co-worker that I am talking about was told that I was on vacation. Almost a week ago, she was in a thrift shop and found a set of babushkas and bought them for me. Inside the last doll, she had a note which explained that she didn't know what kind of day I was having that Fri, but she was thinking about me. Of course, I started crying. That Fri had been a tuff day and, of course, she didn't have to do that. That was really touching. :) Anyway, they are becoming my new obsession. I think they are a metaphor of life --- in a way ...like the layers and layers which make up a person...the memories...the soul...the past the present.... like the skin of an onion...Plus, I read that they may also symbolize fertility.....I really want children, if that's possible now. Maybe fertility could also be a renewed life....transforming. :)

I am having a euphoric experience at times.....thanks for your patience with me  ;)

Anyway, that is what's on my mind.....how are y'all?

How are y'all? :) Great! I hope!

We have a high of 65 and a low in the mid 40's today. We will have scattered showers throughout the day :rainy: But that's ok....it is supposed to be sunny and warm this weekend :)

Hi Jan! :)

Glad to hear that you are feeling well today!

I went to La la land :)

So, your FB friend who is riding from VT to FL on a bad mountain bike, couldn't this be potentially bad for his fibromyalgia? :(
Poor guy! Maybe he needs your advice.

I have worked with / on people with fibro.. but I don't really know enough about it, to know what it might or might not do to him.

In this case I have not said anything to him... at this point what can I say.??

It seems it was only a month or so ago.. they he even tried getting a bike. He tried the manufacturers, and his local shops.. hoping someone would give him a bike....

That is something that should have been done quite some time ago. It sounds like some person bought the Roadmaster for him, very recently. I don't think knows the difference.

What good would it do anyone to now suggest, he should have been training this winter???

There is no advice I can give him that would be of help at this point..  :(

I have taken apart the box the manifold came in. there was some wood under it to raise it up.. the wire mesh from the slab also went through that space.. and there was a bunch of sand.

I had placed sand above my plastic.. and insulation.. but under the slab, when I build. This was done for more heat storage.

anyways all that has been removed... :D

I am going to end up resoldering a couple of joints.. but then this whole thing can be lowered below the floor. :woohoo: :woohoo:

I was hoping to get it all done.. before Laurie knows I am trying to do it.. but that is not likely..

I guess if she does not go down there at lunch time...
