We are Fred & Linda - not new to RVing, but new to the Teardrop world. Linda saw one on the road a few months ago and got interested and in turn got Fred interested. After many hours of research through this forum, we found one for sale in the DFW area that really caught our eye and was what we were looking for. And a real coincidence - the builder is a high school (Waco) classmate of Fred's who he hasn't seen or heard from since 1958. Small world!

We have owned motorhomes for 30 years and think it will be fun to mix Teardrop trips in. Guess we will find out........haven't spent a night in it yet!

We have posted a few pictures in our album but they come up in reverse order and we can't yet figure out how to make it save the "ascending" order. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi Fred and Linda,

Welcome to the world of teardrops! There are many teardroppers in the Metroplex. If you haven't already, please check out the South Central section for regional gatherings.

We just took our first trip in our teardrop this past weekend and had a great time.

Hope that our paths cross some time in the near future.

Welcome Fred/Linda,

We are having a gathering at Loyd Park on Joe Pool Lake in September. Not too far from Irving but it is a nice park. Check out the South Central section for details. If you interested let me know. You can send me a PM or just post under the Loyd Park thread. Have fun with your TD. It's a great way to camp.

One day closer.

Welcome!

There a a bunch of us in North Texas and the DFW area, including Irving.

We are a very active group. Here is a link to our 2011 gatherings...

http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=40124

We just had a big one in Oklahoma last weekend (photos here - http://tnttt.com/viewto ... highlight= ), and have another big one the first weekend in May on the beach. Plus, there are often small, impromptu gatherings close to DFW during the year.

We reserve a group site and Pavilion at Loyd Park in September.

So, join the fun! I hope you like food, drink, and sitting around a campfire with friendly people, because that's what we do best.
