They were talking 10 inches of snow here. All we got is some rain, and not all that much.

this is the snow piling up on the legs of an upside down chair.. the wind blew it off the other leg while I was getting the camera out...

ok.. that job is done. The joints have been soldered. The decking has been screwed down. Including an underneath brace in an area that was not there yesterday... and some 3/4 OSB cut to fit over that. I just need another carpet / rug for the area.

After they were all installed, HD called and my new end panels for the island are in. I did pick them up, but they did not have my shelf that I need replaced! :(

Need to get my contractor to come back and help me with finishing the island and to also adjust all of the cabinet doors. Hope that is soon so the kitchen will be finished - finally! :)
