Great condition… especially for a trailer that’s 55 years old! It’s ready to go today, or make a few updates with a driveway restoration. High quality materials and simple, logical construction. Made at the Aloha, OR factory when they were still in Aloha (they moved to Beaverton around 1959).
GOOD:
-Licensed through Nov 2011. Title in hand.
-15'. Single axle.
-Lightweight! Tows easily and you don’t need a big V8.
-All-aluminum exterior (would polish up very nicely!).
-Mostly original. Solid floor.
-Original birch interior has never been painted (but there is a little water damage).
-Original ice-box works great (w/drain).
-Original oven/cook top (probably works… never tested).
-Sink works great with hose connector. Built in water tank with sink pump (probably works… never tested). -Sleeps 3 easily (Could sleep 4 if two are kids or if you build and install the stretcher-style rear bed). Dinette seats 4 and sleeps 1 (or two kids). Comfortable & clean mattress in rear.
-I have re-sealed windows and no leaks! (vent could be replaced… see below).
NEW:
-Low miles on tires (new spare).
-New propane tanks.
-New exterior lenses and License plate holder/light.
-New Glass globe for interior gas-light.
-New tasteful Hawaiian-style curtains.
NEEDS:
-Not much for a 55 year old trailer. Usable today, but there are a few things I would do if I were keeping it.
-I have a new original style vent I would install (a previous owner put on a plastic one that leaks a teeny bit).
-I would rewire fuse box. Still uses old-style screw in fuses. Wiring appears to be good.
-Some elbow grease and some aluminum polish. Will shine up like a chrome toaster!
Asking $2,300.
