Everytime I post something here now, I always wonder what my voice sounds like to Glenn. I'm afraid to think about it actually.....do I sound like one of the country music artists or Truman Capote to him Is it based on the states that we are from? I will say that I have no idea what any of you sound like....but I have seen the movie Fargo...long ago....I have wondered if Paul'a voice is like the law enforcement people in that show

not quite but almost! lolol my accent is more what you would expect to hear from a 4th generation norwegian living in an all scandanavian world in northern minnesota..

I mean, I'm in Alabama what does that sound like exactly?

these three variations are about what it sounds like around here. english was the second language in my grandparents house, norwegian first most of the time amongst the elders.
finnish just to the east of me an hour is still spoken fluently, the people from that area stick out here, finns vs norwegian/swedish..
Im closest to the guy in the third video growing up amongst the 2 cultures, norwegian/finn....

Daisy Duke? Um....nooo! And a person only wears those shorts if she's working down on the corner

Daisy Duke? Haha! What state was that "set" in? That show used to stress me out, cause it would stop and go to commercial when the car was still airborne. I would worry about the car and the people inside until it landed safely on the ground after the commercial. Why did my parent's allow me to watch that show? What was it even about? I just remember alot of aimless driving around and getting chased by a a cop with a weird name and a round man in a white suit.

the other languages thing is disappearing fast here tho.. i cannot watch the dukes of hazzard anymore, its seemingly pointless..

Oh, it has been quite a day. I went to my new doc. Guess what he said? I have MS He is waiting to put me on meds for a bit. He wants me to go and have some kids first. He is more worried about my depr..."blues" than the MS. I have to get myself/ my life together ...I have a lot to do....but that is fine with me....this man gave me my life back today. I don't want to start the meds and for now I don't have to. I can just concentrate on my diet and excercise and being happier.

He also had a lovely accent.....I asked him where he was originally from and he told me North Alabama...the nurse laughed and said Bulgaria
He was great! I really have a good feeling him and he just made my day. I was happy throughout my whole shift tonight

Im glad to hear you are making the right choices....like my dad and his parkinsons and a lesson learned from his mom who was paralyed at 42...they both said your going to have to get thru life, its up to you how you do it.. they both live/lived as normal and positive lives as possible and enjoying every bit of it they can...you can and will do the same..

You know you are in trouble.. when you are rolling along at 24 miles per hour.. and you don't have a puff of wind in your face.

We had a killer tailwind.. which in itself is ok... It is just knowing we have to at some point turn around.


Out there I altered how we were going to go. we stayed with the tailwind.. going out on this road.. then took more sheltered zig zaggy ones heading home.

Heading out... wow!!! We are not warmed up.. not fully cranking.. and rolling over hills at speeds in the 20's

The Young man that was going to bike to Florida finally posted something.. He found he could not bike more than 10 miles. He said he knee is killing him..

did alot of pre trip planning huh??? stupid store bought bike and cranks that are the wrong length

You know you are in trouble.. when you are rolling along at 24 miles per hour.. and you don't have a puff of wind in your face.

I think his problems are a lot worse than wrong length cranks.. no training or fitness of any type.. and actually I suspect the bike is way to small for him.. so that his seat is to low.. that would make things a lot worse..
