did alot of pre trip planning huh??? stupid store bought bike and cranks that are the wrong length

I think his problems are a lot worse than wrong length cranks.. no training or fitness of any type.. and actually I suspect the bike is way to small for him.. so that his seat is to low.. that would make things a lot worse..

anyways... it's not any of my concern... :FNP :FNP

he could do it with no conditioning.. but 10 miles a day might be the limit till he gets it figured out..dont need to ride 40 mph to get there eventually...what could you do to help????

He had scheduled 85 miles a day... and I don't know about doing without some conditioning.. he is laid up after doing a 10 mile ride.

As I had said I doubt the bike even fits him.

He was going to post a photo of the bike.. I did ask him about that.. and he did not even do that.

I suspect he will end up not moving forward with this... shruggy..

some people when they go on a tour.. they ride themselves into shape.. they usually don't have a strict schedule. He had his route all planned and his stops all laid out... based on 85 miles a day... and on a department store mountain bike I suspect still with it's knobby tires.. :o
