We'll it's a straight trade-out kind of thing and my friend has had a ton of setbacks due to economic changes. I'm sure chomping at the bit though.

Hi Guys, Went to the plant to take a final look-see on the frame before assembly yesterday. Here's what I found.

Axle painted and ready.

Chrome rims mounted with baby moons at the ready (in a box).

The frame upside down but all welded and pretty.

There were a few small things needed before assembly today. I got a call today that she's on her wheels, on the flatbed ready for delivery tomorrow!!! :woohoo:

Oh man you got it Tom, the completed chassis was delivered this afternoon!!!!

Looks exactly like my plans! Tomorrow we start making some sawdust with the wall profiles. I'm meeting with a very nice man with a CNC rig and we're going to see how it will handle importing my computer files. If everything works right all of the wall plywood will be done this way. I've made mirrored vector curves for the exterior 1/8", skeletonized 3/4" interior framing and 1/8" interior plywood. Should be able to make the sandwich walls pretty fast this way.

First thing Monday is to build the deck!

Well Guys, the wait is over...SAWDUST!!! We started actual construction yesterday of the deck.

After some further discussion, we went with solid 1 1/8" plywood decking. We trimmed it to fit the width and then routed in a new grooves.

We then fitted strips of 1/2" ply for the joint.

Here's the deck gluing up.

The joints turned out nice and tight.

Once the glue set, we attached the deck to the frame using carriage bolts and PL400. The chassis was dead on square so we're going to make the deck match the frame using a flush trim bit.

The wall material has been ordered and should have the cnc walls ready to assemble this weekend.
