Good intentions are always blocked by the Corp world...
Building a work bench today, I got a wild hair. Soon y'all will realize I have a warped sense of humor. I couldn't keep from keeping it simple. I had a flashback of my mullet days.
Here we are working... Business in the front
Here we are getting ready for drinks.... Party in the back
I will be building the doors and drawers while building them for teardrop...
Your teardrop is really coming along. It's a great feeling to get the walls stood up, isn't it!
BTW, I like your mobile workbench/bar. I also spied your new HF dust collector in the background. After my teardrop is finished, I am going to re-do our 2-car garage, so it will work better as a part-time shop. Part of that is building mobile bases for my bench tools and coming up with a dust collection system of some sort. I like your workbench design and may borrow it.
Take care,
Tom

Tom... This is were its getting fun. Seeing walls up really helps the momentum. The workbench has been a positive addition to the family. I just can't wait to get the drawers in. I"m going to keep all my hand power tools, nail guns, blades, router bits, and brads. I also put a gang box on it to cutdown on number of extension cords. I decided to leave the top compartment open good place to put pieces while building.
I usually dont get very excited about Harbor Freight but the Dust Collector was a awesome buy. I did a ton of reasearch, just google HF Dust Collector Mods or HF Dust Collector Hod Rod. Right now I just pull it outside. With the bag filter you can see a fine dust coming off it. So the Wynn filter will be the first upgrade.
Vtx...Thanks... I have really enjoyed the Hitachi, it has been pretty reliable and accurate. I had the laser aligned for a while but sumtin happend to it and cant get it to align. Dad said its because i'm left handed and adjusted it on the wrong side of the blade.
TBuilder from other non-teardrop building experiences. If I was not using MDO plywood I wouldn't even think about doing this. Basically if the receipt for the plywood has 800 number for survey and chance to win $5000 gift card don't do it.
Well it has been a while, with work, weather, and son getting married. I'm still making process. Although my time has been limited in the shop, I have been working on the microcontrollers. Yep, Teardrop Automation, i'm diving off the deep end.
