Glenn, you can put "mulching" blades on any mower? Is that all it takes...anything else special involved?

I am obviously NOT Glenn, but yest you can get mulching blades for about any mower. Most of them now are actually called 'combo' blades. And they can be used in 'mulching mode' or 'standard mode' depending on your mower and weather it has the option for mulching. I just put some wire mesh over the output shoot on mine to make it mulch (it already had the 'high lift combo blades on it)!! :)

Home from work and I am exhausted. Today was a total MANUAL day and we busted our butts today. Also, I am redder than a boiled lobster!! Both sun and lots of wind today. I thought that I had some spray on sunscreen in my truck, but NO it was not there!! :(

Shower time and I have to do some laundry. The lawn mowing is going to wait until later in the week.

While things are changing fast here.. it still might be a month before we mow...

well I just went out in the woods for more trail work... :D

man I wish it was dryer...

I so want to get the out there with the bushhog.. and with my excavator. I need three culverts in the area I am now working.. as well as a lot of small stuff that the bushhog would be perfect on.

I think I wish I had a bagger.. I just put mulching blades on the zero turn last year.. and like them better than regular blades. My understanding the bagging system for my mower is very vulnerable to damage from picking up rocks.. or maybe even nuts or stuff...

We should plant some pecan trees. I love pecans and they're so pricey at the grocery store. We have some pesky squirrels around the house tho. Bet they would have a party.

I could rake b4 we mow. It would be lil excercise. :)

we have walnut trees, the squirrels live well around here.. lololol hard to walk on tho.

and It is to early to know on the job.. I think there were further steps...

Thanks for thinking of me....I had some sort of issue with the forum and yadda yadda yadda, I actually didn't exist for a couple days.

Anywho, yeah, Glenn is right about further steps...right now it's just hope that he gets to the next interview.

That happened to me too, with the added joy of having to reactivate my account.

So, Saturday was our anniversary, and we spent the afternoon at the zoo, talking with the birds....
There was a talking raven and a talking crow.
and none of those voices in those videos are mine, but hubby has a starring role in the raven video.

Sunday, I got my puzzle piece floor mats for my "gym." I ended up getting them at evil-mart. They smelled awful for a day, but they seem to have aired out today. I am happy with them. I moved the sisal rug into the bedroom.

That's pretty much the highlights of the past 3 days. Gonna head to bed now.

Nighty night!
