The short answer is no, we do not have it in our driveway yet. The long answer which I will not bore you with is that there have been a flurry of e-mails going back and forth over the last couple of weeks and Eric has promised that we will have it by the first Tearjerkers gathering which for us is the 29th. If we do not have it by then I will pull a trigger legally.

I am guardedly hopeful for you, and pray you don't have to resort to legal action. :worship:

As a Christian dealing with another Christian I was attempting to figure out how to use the proscriptions of the Bible in dealing with another. Unfortunately in today's world it is a great deal more difficult to do that. I first looked for a Christian reconciliation center but there appear to be none in Indiana. The next step was to check the legal system here in Ohio trying to find someone in Toledo, but the difficulty was that you have to be licensed to practice in the other state. I did find a law firm in Elkhart who prefers mediation if at all possible and contacted them. They are willing to take the case and if I absolutely must that's what I will do.

God will bless you for going the extra mile, and I pray that Eric follows through on his end. :applause:

Just talked to Chris at Lil Guy and he's put me in touch with Chris Nash. Seems he has or is putting roll bars on his Rough Rider.

Notice that the Lil Guy Retros look alot like the aussie Desertear but Lil Guy does not make the Retros anymore.

Although this does have a rollbar on the sides, I do not believe that it would give any real protection in a roll over or bouncing off a rock. There does not appear to be any cross bars and is simply attatched to the side of the teardrop. I do admit it looks cool and would help with getting in and out of the teardrop. Would also be good for tying stuff to.

I do think you could add a similar roll bar to a teardrop, but I would beef it up and add cross bars. It will add a lot of weight, but I do not believe that it a concern to most off roaders.

I agree, they don't look much like roll bars for that purpose, more like brush guards like the one on the front of my truck.

They look like they would be handy if you wanted to roll your tear over on its top. :D

They look like the metal polls that go around a wheelchair wheel to me. When I look at that tear it makes me feel like I could grab the polls around the tear and pick it up or roll it around (with the greatest of easy).
