Slowcowboy, you 'say' things in a way that sometimes makes me chuckle or has me shaking my head in agreement. I enjoy your posts and your honesty.

Most of our forum members are pretty darn nice and I enjoy them. The moderators have a tough job to do and they do it with style.

Thumbs up  to the whole bunch of you!!!

I think the median age is in the 50's also!!!

I suspect we have a lot of baby boomers here... and the first of the baby boomers is now about 65 years old...

I, also, wouldn't have a tear if I hadn't found this forum and spent the time to learn from everyone.
My day is poor indeed if I don't spend a little time here. My thanks to all of you...

Then on the other hand you got the younger generation like me that help lower the median age. I'm 30 and in the process of building a teardrop.

At 78 and counting, I resemble that remark also. Long live teardrops and vintage trailers, or better yet, those that build, restore and use them. And with that in mind, I'm off to the Dam Gathering in few days with my new toy, the 'Stacker'..........wheee!

Its kind of funny but I compare other forum I frequent to this one. For instance on car forum recently a TV show dealing with car restoration has been heavily criticized, and just the other day a person on that(or supposedly) show registered and posted. I thought that would be the time that the new member would be welcomed and the thread locked, because thats what would happen here.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

Well I've been 25 for the last 26 years. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I would, however, like to amplify all the comments on this post and take a minute to thank you all for all the fantastic help I've received on this forum. Most especially Mad Jack who, no matter how many times the question is asked, always has a pleasant and helpful response. I do appreciate it, Jack. Thank you.

It's taken three years but I'll be attending my first Southern Appalachian Tear Jerker's trip next month. Nosty's Nook is far from finished, but it's camp-able, (so far, three uneventful trips), and I'm very proud of the outcome. Thank you all for all the help and information you've so readily shared over the years. I look forward to meeting you at future campouts.
