I have been looking at teeter totters... for mountain biking.. just thinking about plans.. how I want to build it.

one you tube video.. on how to make a teeter totter.. [this was a playground teeter.. for kids.. not bike stuff] but...

basically they took an existing teeter.. to the indoor outdoor carpet off and painted it. :?

Just need a solid pivot point and attach the plank!! 8)


You could always attach plank(s) to a nice round log of whatever size you choose (or have handy) and then just put stakes on each side of each end and it will roll for the pivot. Should be slow mo too!! :lol:

I have been thinking about putting up a set of monkey bars.. some parallel bars.. a chin up bar.. I might put them down.. in this new area.. as well as moving my flipping tires..

I just helped my buddy change his flipping tires on his mountain bike!!! :D

yeah.. I guess that would work for little ones.. and might be a great way for me to start.

some just use planks.. some are much more rugged.. sort of like building one of my bridges..

You could always us pipe framing and concrete it into the ground for your teeter toter!

How about building one that will swivel a few degrees when you hit the 'balance' point during a crossing??? 8)
