Shiny new wheels!

Postby nevadatear » Wed Apr 20, 2011 10:44 pm

We finally got our new aluminum wheels on tonight, just in time to go to the Dam Gathering! We sold our old ones to another forum member, so everyone is happy. I am not as happy with the tires, the local tire place had a good deal on some slightly used right size tires, but they have a lower profile and too much space between the fender and tire shows. But after we wear out these tires, we can get what we want. Don't have a lot of choices in little tiny towns. Do you like? We do!

:applause:  Great wheels! I agree about the Tiny Town syndrome. Almost didn't get what I needed...

Ooooooh Pretty!!! Very nice addition indeed! Just the thing to set the stage for Monstero's camping season. Have a blast at the gathering you two.

Take Care,

Dave

Great wheels! The low profile makes the trailer look like it will go faaassster.
But I agree get full size tires next time.

They look great!

What usually happens to me is: I get the tires because I have to. Then I get used to seeing the tires on the trailer. When I go back to the full sized ones, I'm surprised at how big they are!

I grew up in a tiny town. Getting everything shipped in from the big city stinks sometimes.

Very nice!

Maybe painting the wheelwell black or the same green as your fender would be a nice finishing touch?

Navadatear I think the wheels and tires look great. I had the thought to maybe paint the inside of the "fender wood sidewall" a flat black. There would be less of a contrast of black and wood. It might all blend together then.
