I have lurking around for a while and decided to show this build we have been designing and building for the past couple of weeks.
I own www.offroadtrailerz.com and custom build off road trailers and other unuque trailers.
So I have wanting to build a dual purpose enclosed trailer something you can use during the week to carry stuff around and then on the weekends fill it up get the wife and go camping.
Thus the Weekender Trailer is born.
Based on a 5x8x4.5 trailer. This design is what they call a boat frame which is a continues frame not the traditional box and A frame style frames like your normal cargo trailers.
it will have a traditional spring set up with gas shocks to help dampen the ride.
It will have side windows rear barn doors aan extended tongue front and rear 2 " receivers and a Front entry door. Yes front entry door.
I was thing of using a RV couch or a dinette set but found out a Full Size Tri Fold Futon fits perfect in the back.
Construction will be all steel frame Aluminum exterior and will give you tons of room because of the box design.
So what do you guys think?
