I ended up buying an Echo...

Researching the Husky I was thinking of.. I found what seemed to be problems with the chain oiling system... and having had some problems with my last one.. and being very happy with my Echo leaf blower.. and having worked with that particular dealer a bit before.. I went with them.

It then did get down to a left over 530.. vs the 600. The 600 is bigger and more powerful.. and they charged me $10.00 more... The Tim Taylor part of me could not resist... :o

Congratulations! Now if you have to fly somewhere, you can take it with you!!

It's beastly... :o

I might have been just as well off with the smaller one.. shruggy

It does not help that the handle is slippery.. and using it "normally" is fine.. maneuvers it as various angles to limb and such is work.

I am not as strong as I should be.. and having the handle grippier might just be my biggest problem :D

Get some 'rubberized' gloves to wear when using it.

I put some grip stuff on.. and it made a huge difference. The stuff I put on is sticking only so so... so I might have to try something else... but I am getting used to it now. :D

Hey there and good night.

Starting tomorrow I have to be at work by 0600! But I am worn out totally from this week's events at work!

Later! :)

good morning.. we have 31 degrees... and a cloudy sky.. but the sun shining through at the horizon. I was up waaay to late last night.. especially for waking at 4:00 that morning.

Brian had scheduled a trail work day, but canceled it, because of rain. We have no rain now.. and it is not supposed to start until later.. so we are going to work here... :D
