I like the plastic cabinets! Where did you get them?
Also, in photos of insulating...what's that in top front rounded space?

OK a little background first I'm a tournament kayak fisherman and have been ground camping for the last three year's at these events ranging from campgrounds to old abandon runways and decided to get a camper this year so off to craigslist i went. not wanting to spend thousands of my hard earned dollars on something i ill only use a handful of times a year and being picky nothing i saw was going to do. then one night out of the bowels of a online forum a link to a pic from this site and BAM the searching was over so out went the lawnmowers ,weed whackers and and all of the paneling of my 6x12 cargo trailer a good power washing of the interior and off to work i went

OK so that's all for now will be updating as things get done
thanks again

OK, at the top of the front of the trailer above where you have installed the foam insulation, in the rounded area....shiney...what is that?? I guess thats just the inside of the fiberglass. Mine is old and isn't that clean/shiney...nevermind! I see where you cut the foam to go there, is there something behind it to take up the rounded space?

i used two layers of 1/2 in foam so it would bend better

OK, I saw that right after posting!!

I really, really like those cabinets :applause:
I may have to change my plans of making my own from wood that will turn out permanent and really a hassle to remove if I need to!

Can I ask, what is the thickness of your door? and where did you find a latch mechanism to fit it. My door is basically a 3/4" sheet of plywood with an aluminum skin and trim. I would really like to change out the cam-lock with a standard rv style door latch like you did, but I cant seem to find one thin enough.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

batt i put 3/8 in ply up on all my walls and door that gave me enough thickness it looks like the lock would just fit maybe a 16th too thick for standard door but the back plate will still hold it tight i recommend this upgrade made getting in and out so much better for like 30$ cant go wrong

Thanks for the info. $30 sounds a heckovalot better than the $300 I was quoted for a door to be built. Im ordering a latch today!
