On Sundays bike ride.. Greg and Judy wanted to head towards a model home. It was a business that is closed, and being auctioned off. They had storage buildings, and materials on hand also.

Interestingly Judy and I were sort of interested in the place.. Laurie and Greg not. I am not sure why I was interested, I don't really want to sell this place and move.. but this place interested me.

It was in a smaller town than this one.. and it was back in the woods with no neighbors. The weird thing it was right on the interstate. It was placed there so people could see it from the interstate. Normally I would not like that at all. Yet the interstate sound.. seemed sort of like white noise.

The house itself needed work, and being a model house.. they tried to showcase as many different things as they could. Things like both the kitchen and living floor were beautiful, but they did not go together well at all.

Some of my interest might have been that the house was finished...

Yet it needed enough work.. some on the house... much of the other buildings.. enough work. That it would be almost as much work as finishing this place..

Soooo anyways I really need to get to work on this place.. 8)

It's curb appeal... or standing in the driveway looking at it was nice. Mine.. people don't even know there is a house there..

I have wanted to redo the entry way some.. and have played with different idea's for a couple of years. Later during that ride. I started thinking about moving the door.. to the front of the porch.

It would make for better use of space inside. I could more easily put in some covered steps there. Just redoing the space.. putting in real windows and such would improve the appearance a lot. :D

I had a weird dream last night....it was like a movie, but I was in it. It had a soundtrack, and credits even rolled at the end when it was over.

and the assignment:

In preparation for the course students will develop a series of critical reviews of the texts identified above. In each case students will provide: 1) an accurate, comprehensive summary of the text, and 2) a critical evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the
2
material presented. Within the critical evaluation, students should feel free to focus on a particular aspect of the work in question. At least one half of the review should be devoted to critical evaluation. The texts should be read in the order given above.
All reviews must be completed and in hand for the first session of the class.
Total written work should be no more than 30 pages. Think, say, of doing three major reviews about ten pages in length or six reviews five pages in length.
