I will be building on a frame from a 1986 Palomino Mustang pop-up camper. i will have to widen axle. I have mad welding skills, so frame modification is not a problem. (I have been welding for the better part of 25 years)

I will be using plywood for the shell. My concern is protecting the plywood. I did some research on different epoxy type coatings. Some products look like they will do the job. It seems that I would have a plastic coated camper with the epoxy. I have read some past posts on epoxy type coatings, but I was wondering if anyone ever used "Goop Coat-It"? I have a friend who used it on his mudboat, and that stuff is tough as bed liner and doesn't add too much weight. I think it would be a good coating on my TTT. It is paintable. Opinions? Comments? Pros-Cons?

Although I am still in planning, blueprint, information gathering stage; I am gaining all the knowledge I can. This will be my first build and I want to be ready.
