and you are only 553 miles from the Crossroads of America gathering in July. Where you will be dazed amazed and further confused while inspecting 125 toy trailers of any and all make model and description of commercial and home built units.

i conned my hubby into a camping trip last september. he had no idea that there was a tear gathering going on though. LOL

so he took the tours and enjoyed meeting all the people, but he really did like those little campers, especially those homebuilt ones.

so less than 1 yrs later i now have my homebuilt tear. mine is what they are calling the foamie. its just insulated foam covered in canvas. but it works, its been on 2 trips so far.

now hubby still isn't too keen on this type of camping, he would rather have an rv. but he doesn't mind me taking off and enjoying the teardrop.

welcome and one more thing, when gathering your materials, remember to get doubles of everything, it will not take too much work before you will be working/planning your second build. i never thought i would be doing a second one so soon after the first, but its started. and teh first one is not even finished, but it is campable.
Louella
May the foam be with you.
