I'm traveling in Michigan this week. I was in Grand Rapids yesterday, Kalamazoo today and to Detroit this afternoon to fly to Home (Nashville) tomorrow.
I will go by Cabelas this afternoon (Dundee, MI) to look at some of their gas stoves.

I'll start welding my 5' wide, 4' high and 8' long TD this weekend.
I was out of argon so I'll get a full tank tomorrow and start welding.

I'm new at welding, but have had a lot of encouragement from this forum.
I work for a sheet metal based equipment manufacturer so I've got a friend from work that will guide me in my welding training.

Thanks,
 :applause:

Bandit, we am still building on our tear now and I wish I had built a Benroy at least 9 foot long. The profile we have now is really cutting into our galley space bad. We can not find a small enough refrigerator that will fit in our galley. If you are sandwiching the sides you can splice the plywood to any size you want with no problems.
I started out with nothing and I still got plenty left.

There seems to be a lot of Tears in the Great Lakes area. I'll post my next trip and maybe I can visit some Tears.
