:applause: Way to go troops! Your efforts are appreciated!!

This may sound macabre, but am I the only person that would like to see proof of this?

I'm guessing the rest of Al quaida is going to be pretty ticked off about this. My prayers continue to go out for the safety of our troops over there.

Cliff, I see your point. Someone as evil as Bin Ladin will need prayers for his soul but, like you said, the American in me is cheering.

Another political/ideological mass murderer has met his just fate. Keep
the justice rolling down through all echelons of the Al Quaida terrorist
organization and any other like organizations. Radical Islam is not
religion, but twisted ideology masquerading as religion.

Kudos to the brave special forces teams who carried out the mission and
their support teams, and to President Obama who directed the search
continue as one of the highest priorities when he assumed office, and then
directed the action be taken when it was determined to be possible.

I'm glad they tracked him down and got him. Know just worried about what repercussions may happen to our troops over there and hope we didn't make him a symbol to fight for even more after death than in life. We also don't know what the next in their line of command will do. I feel this way since my brother is currently serving over seas.

One source has said that he has already been "Buried at Sea".

Which I'm actually glad he is already buried.

Even though it will rob the Media and his supporters of a first Class Media Circus I think it was a good move.

I for one will refuse to watch all the emotional photos and footage of all his supporters morning his demise.

I also have mixed emotions about publicizing all the details as well.

I understand that our country has to be above board with these details...But the Sisilian in me says things might be better off if we keep our mouths shut!

Len, You're right. Even though this a milestone event that took a long time to finish, I get the feeling that we should all be very aware that the future could be as uncertain as ever.

I am glad this chapter of our history is drawing to a close but have mixed feelings about media coverage in general and some news reporting in particular.
I found what someone said on Public Radio to be very fitting.
