SJ, Mike sure has a Nice BIG shape going eh , and 4 sheets of foam is less $ than one sheet of real good plywood ... Probably lighter too ... Don't rot either .... :thumbsup:


Made up my mind ... the heck with this :o ... I'm going ahead with building my Foamie TD Inside the Studio , and If I have to move all that junk out of the way to get it out , so be it ... Got some plastic sheeting to put on the floor so I don't drip glue/paint all over the concrete .. Getting out my horses and folding tables ... First thing is to make sure all the pieces fit exactly and cover the insides ... I'll take some pics as it progresses ...

I really wish I didn't have so many projects at home, or I'd be starting mine too!

OK I am on my new computer right now. It is wonderful! And purple!

i have to load in my photo programs and then i should beable to show more pics. if i have any to share.

Mike , I already have my pieces cut out so am going to build that little one first ... But after that I'm sure I'll be building a Bigger one ... :D I would appreciate your dimensions after I get this one finished ... :thumbsup: That shape is good looking and looks like it would be roomy inside ... 8)

After reading this entire post today, I too am starting a foam standie on a recycled 57 Shasta frame. Thanks for the knowledge and motivation :thumbsup:
