Kansas City Missouri and North West Arkansas

I'm sick of packing up 2 tents when it's time to go home.

I'm building a tiny trailer for me, wife and baby (due 6/27/11)
the other 3 kids can sleep in the tent.

and when it's time to go, I'll just wad the tent up into a ball and throw it in the trailer.

My plan is to do a simple non-insulated 4x8 that will fit on my utility trailer so I don't have any RV taxes and fees.

I'm a mechanic and parts guy by trade.
but when it comes to working with wood, I can cut it 3 times and it's still too short.

Wish me luck.

Welcome Buddy,
Just be warned. That 4x8 non insulated, throw the kids tent into a ball in the trailer will probly turn into something biger and more intense. We all go in with a simple plan. Then get to looking and reading, reading looking and talking, more reading and talking. The addiction sets in and your there. Good luck and lets see some pictures when the sawdust flies.

Welcome aboard. We have a couple gatherings in the near future. Stop by and check out the trailers, find new friends, and figure out why we love our potlucks.

Thanks for the offer Nathan,

My wife is due in 7 weeks and she is busy with "nesting" the house.
we're lucky if we go to the lake for a day.

I've been in Kansas City, Missouri for the last 40 years.
But I'm transplanting myself to Bentonville, Arkansas to be with my wife and start a "shake and bake" family.

Is a video on Youtube good enough? I don't have a digital camera anymore.
I hope this works.

Thanks again Nathan,
We beat the bushes around Beaver Lake pretty hard. After the TTT is built, I'm going to start pushing us up to Stockton Lake.
