Hi, some of you may remember me. I built my tear over the winter of 09-10 in Ohio. I lost the web address and just found it recently so thought I would up date you on what I've been up to. I left Ohio behind in August last year and made a trip to the west coast. I spent most the fall in Oregon and Arizona living full time in my tear. In Nov. I headed to Florida and that's where I'm at now. I got here at Silver Springs the 5th of Nov. and spent the winter at an RV park. Winter wasn't too bad. I had a 8x8 canapy I had over the tear which kept is almost completly dry. In Dec. I got a 10x10 coleman with sides and was able to stay dry with it. Only the tongue stuck out but did have 4 feet on the door side to put a chair. Then in March this year a resident here put his 5th wheel up for sale and it was dirt cheap so I grabbed it up. He wanted to get a smaller trailer. I am now living in my 5th wheel but still have my tear. I don't have anything to tow the 5th wheel with yet but the way gas prices are right now I don't need to move it. I put a fresh coat of paint on the tear last week and started loading it up for a trip out west again. I'll come back here this winter but I want to get out of here by at least June 1st. I have an appointment at the VA hospital in Lake City for an MRI to determine if the cist they found on my pancreas is cancerous. I'm praying it isn't but as soon as I get a clean bill of health I will be out traveling again in my teardrop. I lost Nikki in Jan. She had complete kidney failure and I had to put her to sleep. That was the sadest day of my life.

But things are much better now. I have a new companian. She's a longhair minnie wennie that just turned 6 months old. She's the cutest thing I've ever seen and smartest. I know she's going to be a great traveling partner and can't wait to start traveling. Well, don't want to make this look like a book. Hope everyone is having fun with whatever stage you're at on your teardrop build.
