Speakers/DVD/Radio/MP3 help on parts please

Hello-

I was so going to build a teardrop, until I managed to pick up a Shasta Compact cheap. I am planning on replacing the ceiling and I'd like to put some recessed speakers in it for a radio/TV/DVD player setup.

Any recommendations on speakers? Could I just salvage some from a car? There isn't too much room in the ceiling, I could also do surface mount speakers if they were fairly small. I am looking for decent sound, cheap.
