Now I must confess to cutting off strips of the inner fabric where the GG went and roughing up the surface with Mr. 36 Grit... one quick pass is all it takes ... Blow gun darts and package sealing tape holding everything together whilst the glue dries , which in our 83F heat is pretty QUICK !!! :o A little final shaping of the top edges and it's time to glue the roof on ... Going pretty Fast !!!
Note: I did have to prop up a couple edges to get the ply floor Flat .... and , of course it had a bow in it ,crown up, so put a heavy flower pot in the center ... that fixed that ... Doing this in the shop would have been nicer , but it IS outside already ...

Eagle , I glue up /paint stuff all the time and have considerable practice of getting it EVERYWHERE...

same here, i think almost every pair of pants i own has paint stains on them. i am going to have to be more careful from now on with that glue. that stuff doesn't wash out well and just ruins the clothes.

I did speak too early and now have glue on my fingers ...grrrrr!!!! Going to let it cure a while , take a siesta , and then come back and start shaping the edges ... That'll take 20 minutes ... the foam "hogs" out quick with a rasp ... :D

OH Yeah !!! Everything will be radius'd and made smooth... no sharp corners, all Rounded ... Overall sanding will make it look much better ....
Off to the Guitar shop tomorrow (my little consulting job) , I'll cut the wood bits for the door and door frame .. Going for Cypress cause' it doesn't Rot ... Might as well eh ! Just a few strips to cut ... Glue them in and we'll be ready to cover ...

Why didn't you just buy the Round Edge Styrofoam???

They must offer it if they specify "square edge" right on the sheet

(of course I know of a couple places that offer Medium and Large drinks too. I have to make a big deal out of it. "How can you have a medium if there isn't anything smaller??? Most the "kids" just look at me all dazed and confused)
