For a buck and a half for a big dog and drink Costco can't be beat. If you plan ahead, heat some chile and take some cheese, you can have a chile cheese dog also.

Back to burgers.

Cheers,

Gus

There was one in Orlando but last time I drove by it was closed.

What?!!! Cheeburger Cheeburger closed? Now I have one less reason to ever go back to Florida. They're adding up. First the Tiki Room burned down and now there's no place for a good burger.

I am waiting for us to get a Tommy's burger from L.A. It was the best after a night of parting. Or how about the Heart Attack Grill.

You must have a stronger "constitution" than I have. There is a Tommy's just a few minutes away. I used to stop there as I like their French Fries and they served Pepsi (I'm not big on Coke) and then I'd go to Carl's Jr next door for the cheeseburger. Tommy's meat is fried and the chile and onions on the burgers are a bit too much (good going down, not so good coming back up for hours and hours).

They switched to Coke so I don't frequent them as much anymore.

Cheers,

Gus

I have several "favorite" burger joints. They are all different. I like them for different reasons.

I do like In-N-Out burgers, and their fresh cut fries.

Variety is the spice of life.

Yes, a Whataburger is a real regional treat. I love them. But, I don't limit myself to just one burger. It is a big, wide world when it comes to burgers.

BTW, the In-N-Out Burger opened, and the lines were insane. I'll wait until the novelty wears off before I go and eat there.

I may buy a bunch for my best client and his staff one day. Everyone likes good food, especially when it is free.

Insane behavior for a very, IMHO, mediocre meal. Crazy! I am, however, glad there are several I&Os nearby where the novelty has worn off and I don't have to deal with that traffic!

Cheers,

Gus

Gus, I have nothing but Kroger's store brand soft drinks in my fridge. $3.99 a case, and they taste just fine, to me.

As for burgers, I have several that I really like. INO is one of them -- with grilled onions, of course.

Here in Dallas, there is a french fries rivalry between Snuffer's Coronary Fries and.....

Scotty P's Cardiac Fries.

I like them both. Either one could kill you. :o

BigK is not that bad. We get the ones that aren't like Coke; orange, lemon-lime, root beer, etc. We only get Coke when it's on sale, 10 for $10. At that price it is only $.30 more than Big K. When the stockpile runs out and Pepsi is on sale, then we just do without till Coke goes back on sale again.

That's nuts!

But, the guy narrating went to Chick-fil-a instead. I hate that place. Not because the food is bad (although their fires suck), but because they charge too much for what you get. Their soft drinks are 95 percent crushed ice.

The only name-brand soda I buy is Creme Soda -- either IBC or A&W. BigK only has Red Creme Soda, which is not the same.

What I dream of for Dallas is a place that serves a REAL Philadelphia hoagie and a good creme soda.
