UPDATE - (FINALLY GETTING FIXED) - Blowouts are a nightmare!

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Becca

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I personally think it's I-75. I lost 5 tires in 18 months on my travel trailer, all less than than a year old, properly inflated and maintained. As for damage, what a mess. Hope you get your repairs done soon.

:o That is a lot of tires Bob! It's amazing to see how much rubber waste is on that Interstate. I think you might be right about 75.

Got the wheel-well fixed and the cabinet is being repaired now. Gotta give kudos to State Farm - faxed the cost for repairs in and got a check 4 days later! Will be camping again soon...yeaaa!

Glad to hear it has come out well. We will be camping this year but fairly close to home. Our daughter is pregnant with twins and will because they are breach be delivering by c section June 15th and needless to say Nancy does not want to be too far from home.

Hijack!

Shadow Catcher, congratulations on the grandtwins! I'm rather partial to them myself. :D

I can understand staying close to home. Based on my own experience, those babies could come any day now! But just think, you can take them camping with you next summer! Or maybe the next. I had mine out tent camping when they were about 20 months old. With a teardrop we would have been all over the place!

Butch, have reservations the last weekend in October but hope to get one or two campouts before that. I don't mind camping in summer since I have a/c. I just go where there's a pool or place I can get in the water.

Congratulations on your upcoming twin grandbabies! Do you know if they are boys/girls? Very cool! :applause: I can't blame Nancy at all. You might have a problem dragging her away to camp after they are born too!

Oh, and my trailer is finished! I had Ron fix just what needed fixing instead of replacing the entire cabinet, sink, stove area, he just fixed what was messed up and it looks just fine. Ready to roll! :D

Thank you Sharon! After hearing about Aunti M (Miriam) and Mike losing so much from that devasting tornado in Joplin, MO, my problem with the camper damage is nothing. So tragic. :(
