Need bearings or seals?

Postby nevadatear » Wed May 18, 2011 9:03 pm

We are teardroppers that own Desert Metal Products, a custom machine shop in Lovelock, NV. We have a huge stock of bearings and seals, many of which are no longer made and no longer available anywhere. You have to see our shop to believe it. We have purchased from auctions and specialize in the hard to find stock. If you have a need for an antique or obsolete seal or bearing, feel free to give us a call or send us a pm. We may just have what you need.

I could use a set of wheel seals for our '46 Modernistic. It's been 4 years since I greased the bearings, so it's time to do it. I won't have any specs til I pull a wheel, but as I recall they were a quite hefty seal, might even have been a leather seal. I'll try to find numbers, or at least get measurements. Bob

Let us know with the numbers or as much info as you can, maybe even a pic, and Randy will take a look.
