Hello from Arizona

Postby deserthobo » Fri May 20, 2011 4:11 pm

Been lurking for a bit...my interest is now sufficiently piqued.

It'll be a little while before I start my build being that my housekeeper ran off with my vault full of gold, my driver drove off with my limo, and my pilot flew the coop with my Gulf Stream.

I'm starting out with the basics...first buy a hitch, second buy the trailer frame, third...well you get the idea...meanwhile I'll be drawing up some plans and will undoubtedly asking a lot of newbie questions from you who have "been there and done that".

It's nice to be lurking in the company of a positive and enthusiastic group... :applause:

So said about the gulf stream, maybe you could have used some parts off it? :?

Welcome to the group Hobo. If you don't find the information that you are looking for, just ask. There are a lot of helpful people here. What part of Arizona are you in? Also check out the Arizona Tearjerkers web site at:

Thanks for the info and welcome. I'm in the Wickenburg area.

I've found a bolt on hitch for my TV and will be ordering it pretty soon. I keep my eyes on Craigs List for trailers/trailer frames...I'm sure one will pop up by the time I'm ready...I realize this will be quite a project so am taking my time by asking questions, reading, researching, and trying to simply "measure twice...cut once"... :)
