Who all's from Texas?

Postby jerry101jlh » Fri Jun 03, 2011 8:06 am

Until recently we thought we were one of the very few in Texas with a Teardrop, but after looking through this board I see others. So if you're from Texas add to this post along with where you are located? Might be we can get enough to start a little club of our own and get more gatherings going.

As MJ says, there are a bunch of teardroppers in Texas.

We're one of the newer Texas teardroppers. Thanks to everyone on the forum, and particularly the Texas members that let me bug them on many occasions and visit gatherings, I've been able to build our teardrop.

Check out the South Central Section and be sure to sign up for the bigee gathering in MJ's neck of the woods - LCG VI - at Lake Bisteneau State Park in Louisianna.

Take care,
Tom

Sorry if I offended anyone by asking for Texas people, not my intent. Do realize I could search each and every post for those in Texas, but I'm too lazy to do that. I'm just trying to find out who all is around and might even be in the same neighborhood as us, Bourne) San Antonio. Again sorry if I offended anyone.

We have a large and active Texas delegation. We hold our gatherings as part of SouthCentral Tears. Most of the gatherings are in Texas, Oklahoma and Looseeanna, doncha know. ;)

The gatherings range in size from a half-dozen trailers, up to 80-something at LCG in October. We take over the campgrounds of two State Parks for two of our gatherings.

Check out the SCT forum, where you find a list of our gatherings at the top as a sticky thread.

The next scheduled gathering is Loyd Park in September. We don't do a lot in mid-summer, for obvious reasons.

C'mon out and camp with us.
