What is the coolest thing you ever built?

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

This is the kind of models that I like to mess with.

Before woodworking, I was always working on some car project. Here is the coolest, my '74 Monte Carlo I rescued from the junkyard and rebuilt.

Found in the yard:

This is a fun clip of me pulling the front clip off the car:

Thanks! I hated to sell that car. I finally got another one that didn't need too much, I'll be driving this one pretty soon!

2bit- Why is the front wheel well so high? It wouldn't by any chance have hydrolics to make the front end bounce up and down?

The coolest thing I ever built was a loft bed with a ladder and a desk with a tall shelf of cubby drawers underneath it, for my daughter! Doesn't compare to what others did!

You mean like THIS?

:R

Actually, in this pic I was installing the transmission and I photoshopped out the jackstands hehe but you got the stereotype all wrong, it is the cool '70's Starsky and Hutch car style, not the L.A. low rider!
Sorry for the threadjack but yes, you are pretty observant, the front end is high in the other pic because I had just gotten it and had not put the engine in yet, I fixed that, and it sits good now
;)

based on how much they enjoy them, the little boats I built for my kids and nephews. they love them and even passed on their favorite playground to go back out in them at my parents house.
