Good idea, jigsaw jig for template cutting

I thought this tip would be helpful to inspiring builders out there! I will make one of these jigs for my lil' shop.

Looks like it cuts a little bigger than the template, nice to have if don't have a router though.
Ignorant doesn't know any better, Stupid knows better but does it anyway.

Align the pins to the side of the blade instead of center and you have a near exact pattern match.

Jigsaws are nice but "precise" isn't in their vocabulary.

The instructions are for use WITH a router. You do the fast, rough cut with a cheap jigsaw blade and then use your expensive router finishing bit to clear it off.

Oh, and I would put a guide pin behind the blade also.
