Thank the good Lord you and your family are okay, physically at least. We've been praying for your safety. I guess it worked. You have a wonderful extended family here that supports you and your family in your recovery.
I've been telling everyone about you and your family as well as this site. There
are many more praying for you.

:) Thank you all! Soon I will find a connection that will allow pictures.....and boy do I have some....

The TD had cracks in the top (1/8" ply) (not the spars) and I wanted a flat bed trailer so 8) first my brother bruised his side running into it...then he took a large wrecking bar and finally got the back half off. Poor man...It took a chain saw to finally get the top and most of the sides off... Now my sister has a video of this and she will post it as soon as she has time...

OK I can't get pic. to upload on this slow connection. I guess if the President shuts down traffic I will play with tomorrow!

 Or I could find a Wifi hotspot  For those of you on FB there is an album like to Sheri's pictures....Sorry!

Miriam, glad to hear you and your family are ok.

I am just now catching up as I was out of town. The world becomes much smaller when you know someone who went though a terrible disaster like that tornado.

Wishing you and your family well and the rest of Joplin as well.

Those are astounding pictures, much better than the news! I can't imagine what everyone's mental state must have been and continues to be. Thank the good lord none of you were seriously hurt or worse. I wish I were closer so that I could help.
Please keep us up to date and we will continue to pray for you.
Take good care of yourselves.

Yep  And an amazing amount of respiratory illnesses. Sitting in a motel with bronchitis knowing I need to finish up some stuff! Oh well vacation time I guess! Fortunately the black fungus seems contained to tornado injuries. Only Mike got scratched and I cleaned that very well..... The air is scary some days...You don't think about that part of it most of the time....

Miriam,

Been reading your posts here for a while now....and you seem to be the nicest lady. I am so glad the storm didn't "get" you and your family.

Your stuff is gone. Glad you aren't.

Not to derail this thread, but you guys mention a fungus....what's the story there?

Auntie M , Your pics are so sad , reminded me of the total devastation here after Katrina.... Small consolation is at least you didn't get 12' of water flooding everything for a month ruining Everything ...
And Yes , please be careful of the Toxic dust , mold etc. We wore dust masks for months when we were in the affected areas... a wise precaution ... All the best to you and yours ... We wish you a speedy return to normalcy ...

We're almost 6 years and counting and not everything is 100 % yet ... Don't depend on FEMA. they're Idiots , typical SLOW moving bureaucracy...
