If I do ever paint it it will be pine tree green so I can hide better. If I ever buy another I may look for shiny aluminum so it reflects my surroundings and will be harder to see.

My colors came to me late morning one sweltering hot summer day after being out all nite paintin' the town red...... My wife & I took a look down to the foot of the bed & both simutaneously proclaimed......

I painted the 1/4 Nelson Stacker, blue and yellow to celebrate my ancestor's discovery of America in Newfoundland. I now have a small Swedish flag to fly above it when I am camping.

the stripes on my Play-Mor are being painted Pink/Silver/Pink because I LOVE pink but I figured painting the whole thing pink would not go over well with my bro who might be borrowing it from time to time. He'll have to live with the shabby chic pink decor inside tho!!

I'm probably going to widen the silver stripe and both pink stripes so there is no white inbetween.
Pappin' in Pink (well, we will be sometime in the future when I can paint my new Paphut!!)

I wanted mine to look like a tent on wheels, and chose a khaki color paint to sort of look like canvas.

It goes pretty well with my tow vehicle, too.

Root beer brown :?

It was that color when I bought it.

A previous owner (and there've been plenty in the trailer's 63 years) painted it to match his tow vehicle.

I'm thinking of painting it silver to match my tow vehicle.

I'm still blown away by the great paint or non-paint jobs you people have done to your trailers.........
well the pink strips are a bit much on papmom35's trailer I'll bet her brother feels very manly when he borrows it.

I also like the mural on caseydog's trailer

Thanks Pete....
Papmom....go get some 3M black pinstriping tape and tape off the edges on your pink/silver stripes. I think you'll find that it will really dress them up and make them pop! Like 3/16". Doug

The colors were the easiest part of the whole build. Trying to match auto paint to latex was a chore though.

White...because I already had a bunch of topside boat paint in white...because most boats are white...

When I bought my last truck I went down to the dealer with a cupful of dirt from my yard and got the closest match I could. Worked out pretty well.

The dirt on it looks like the base color and when the pollen falls in the spring it just about matches the metal flake in the paint.
