Epoxy Will break down with UV. I believe the clear types are even more susceptible. Strip built boats have to be covered with UV inhibiting spar varnish.

When I said poly I meant polyurethane glue such as Gorilla glue. Not poly resin.

Right now, with everyone loading up the movies, it's taking about 75 seconds per movie... and that's if you have quicktime installed...

Thinking on the subject of trying to glue to the foam and peoples experience. I have come to think that nothing will stick to the foam. Even epoxy as it will stick only to the surface of the foam and with time and movement the glued foam will break away from the rest of the foam. But it really doesn't matter anyway. The foam is there to hold the shape and keep the outer thin "hard" covering of what ever from collapsing in on itself. Wood covered in poly or epoxy has a problem when it delaminates from the wood the wood is getting water and will rot and there goes the neighborhood.

well i've been sitting here ripping the seams out of the boys old jeans. my hands are so stiff. these seams are put together much better than i would have thought. this is a pita!

but i must finish, as i am going to cover the inside with these jeans. i will have tons of places for sticking things then. lots of pockets.

Personally I still think that using epoxy over foam works better with the perforations ...
Well it's 96F here , HOT sun , 85% humidity , just checked mine , no bubbles even on the black which is registering 146F on the black (IR/laser Thermometer) ... Hurts to touch it ... The white is only 131F ... big difference in colors , brown and green are both 141F ... nothing's coming loose , or going runny ... and all that is just T2 and paint ...
Worry if you must , I'm not ...

Mike , i believe the fabric should applied in the shade (I did) and allowed to cure for the recommended 24 hours .... and yours stuck as good as mine ... I had to force it to peel off ... did nothing by itself ...
Looks like the bubbles were over the perforations which makes me think the outer skin dried faster than the deep spots and the water in the undried glue underneath gassed in the heat, forming the bubbles ... You may try gluing up in the shade ... see if that eliminates the bubbles ... I had No bubbles at all , not even any now ... same as day one ...

Or did the perforations trap air that expanded in the heat and raised a bubble?
