We used a 15" LCD television connected to an antenna, cable tv lead (for when cable is available) and to a DVD mounted in a cabinet.
TV. and DVD. are run with remotes, so most everything is hidden.
Both are 12 Volt DC, and the DVD also plays music CD's, though as was pointed out, the stock speakers sound like sick mice
We have a (disposable) battery powered extenal speaker setup for music and movies.
In the past, in other campers, we've just carried a cheap 13" tv, but it is such a pain to have to stow it each time, and it occupies a large area on a counter...
Thin wall mounted screen is a definate plus!
