flush mount windows??? how?? ideas?

I really love the look of tinted flush mount windows, and plan to do this, one way or the other, but it would sure help, if anyone has any ideas or has done this, or made custom windows?

Reminds me of a fort we built as kids, we hot glued a piece of plastic over a hole to make a window. You could cut out your hole about 1/2'' smaller than your window, rout out a little step 1/4'' wide and the depth to match your plexiglass thickness, and epoxy smoked plexiglass windows in. You could repeat on the inside and have a double pane window.

here is what I am doing,

1st, I know this camper really does not fall into the catagory of what most here build, however I have found a ton of good info here, with custom ideas and styles, as I am redoing this camper with a more modern design, rather than going back to all vintage stuff.

You are in luck, a standard RV wall is 1 7/8" thick, so a standard RV window will fit ok, just a little gap between trim ring and window, but you probably won't even notice. A lot of the bigger RV places have used windows for sale. How many do you need? I have one I got for the front, but can't use it because my tongue box will block it. PM me If your interested.

He has some pretty cheap windows, just no trim ring so you'll have to get creative. The one I've received so far is in like new condition.

I'll second that, bought two windows and they were nice...but no trim rings. Very quick delivery. Sound eBayer.

I'll pitch in and say that I've gotten quite a few things from bottom dollar surplus. The window I got didn't have a trim ring but it is a front window that came with a rock guard perfect for a sun roof.

I'm looking for windows like this, that are slanted or angled or what ever you want to call it.

I've found a company that makes them but they make each one to your specific sizes and shapes needed, probably high dollar.

Austin hardware sells rubber window gaskets in varrying wall thicknesses. Just cut out plexiglass windows the shape you want, cut out the hole, put in the gasket, put in the plexiglas, done. A lot cheeper than a custom built window. I saw a thread on it a few years back, might try searching for it.

sweet, that is what I'm looking for although I will probably use real glass, I got a friend in the business, so I can get a deal on getting the windows cut.
