I know this ?? has been asked before but, what kind of amperage does a normal hookup at campground have. You see everything from teardrops to full size motorhomes at these campgrounds, so Im assuming the hookups will handle most anything??

You are correct and most campgrounds can do it all...

Most all campgrounds have 30amp plugs.. A lot of 50 amp plugs also but those tend to be the larger pull through camp sites.. Also most have a standard 20amp plug beside the 30 and or 50.. So yeah pretty much anything. Even a 40 foot camper can plug into a 110v 20 amp plug.. He might only be able to run his AC though..

Expect to see a 30amp RV plug, Nd a 15amp duplex plug. You may come accross a 50amp plug, but expect to pay more for the sight. If you go with 30amp on the tear, carry a 15amp adapter, and if ya go with 30amp carry a 15amp adapter. Plugging into a standard 15 apm plug can be helpfull, and you might find a 15 amp plug with bad mojo, and need to use te 30 amp.

...let me give a double ++1 on the adapters...they can usually be found at most box and sporting goods outlets for under 10bux...if you're wired for 15/20amp service, get a 30amp adapter for your cord and if wired for 30amp service get the 15/20amp adapter...........
